Highspeed Lubricants was founded in the late 1960s in York and supplied lubricants and fuel treatments to transport and farming.
In 1989 the Course Care brand was created and we began supplying specialised lubricants to golf clubs and others in the turf maintenance sector up and down the country - we cover all of England, Scotland and Wales. Within a few years we successfully introduced waste management services to these customers.
COUNTDown, our very effective diesel fuel treatment, launched in the mid-nineties, is in regular use with major retailers, transport fleets, county councils, "blue light" services and individual motorists. We have 1000s of satisfied users reducing emissions and getting more out of their diesels.
June 2001 saw a management buyout and the company is now under the ownership of joint MD's, Andrew Vincent and David Mears. Investment and product development followed with the expansion of our waste management services, the inclusion of a wide range of work, leisure and PPE products and the rapid growth of our bunded tank sales operation.
In 2003 our ClearWater washdown water recycling systems were successfully launched responding to the needs of many wishing to bring their facilities up to date and comply with current legislation. With many systems installed around the country and in the Irish Republic, ClearWater is fast becoming the popular washpad water recycling system.
